DAVID'S STORY
I became a Veterinary Technician for a local Veterinarian in 2012. Shortly after I had my first child, I quickly discovered that I needed to make additional income to support my growing family, so I entered the communications industry. I always felt myself being pulled back into the pet care field, so in 2017 I came up with the idea for Paw Control while watching cartoons with my nephew over Christmas break. Everyone thought that it was a crazy dream at first, but it is my crazy dream. I began Paw Control in January 2018, making us the first mobile pet groomer to specialize in nail trimming in Denton County. Within months of being open, we won The Best of Denton County in 2018 and then we won again in 2019 and 2020! I think my family is still a little surprised. I am happy that I am back doing something that I love while making new friends, seeing old ones, and supporting not just myself, but a growing team of like-minded professionals.
